St Dunstan’s support Glastonbury Mental Health Network

St Dunstan’s Lodge in Glastonbury were very pleased to be able to support the Glastonbury Mental Health Network (GMHN), with a donation of £500. This small, yet impactful charity has a number of initiatives locally, focusing on mental health support, networking and sign posting. They run regular groups whereby people can come together in a safe space and is to many a lifeline for them. The donation from St Dunstan’s will be put towards a new project whereby they will be delivering valuable training to a large number of people who work within the town, in dealing with those that are presenting immediate psychological issues. This is deemed to be a very valuable intervention programme. We were also shown around the community garden, where the photo was taken. For more information visit www.glastonburymentalhealth.org.
