Clevedon Masons Remembering VJ Day

On Sunday 17th August the Clevedon hub at Clevedon Masonic hall held a Commemorative event of VJ Day 80 years ago.

This event attracted, Masons its friends and families. There were several quizzes and word search relating to the war. A superb buffet was prepared by Zena and Neil

• Ian Strickland spoke about his uncle, John Strickland who was killed in the war.
• Neil Hurcum then gave a short history of Reg Clifford.
• Peter Harris then gave a short talk regarding the war in Burma.
