King Alfred Go Out With a Bang!

It’s that time of year again, the end of the masonic season, where brethren from all across the land hang up their aprons and square away their 3 piece suits to enjoy some much needed time off for the summer break.
Brethren at King Alfred certainly know how to go out in style.
In a rare event, something that hasn’t happened in over 10 years at K.A, saw the brethren initiate brother Christopher Geach on Friday 13th June in our last meeting of the masonic calendar.
Another brilliant candidate to join the ranks of our flourishing lodge.
The evening was another resounding success, every brother in attendance felt the love, warmth and unity that is so common practice now at K.A.
We were even blessed with the presence of 20 visitors including a contingent from Bristol who were excellent company, with lots of story telling, sharing of experiences and even some number swapping for future visits.
The night was proceeded by some casual drinks at the bar and no doubt there were some sore heads the next morning.
With another 4 candidates planned already for next year’s season, the future looks bright for King Alfred.
As we conclude this masonic year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the fellowship, support, and brotherhood we’ve shared throughout this last year, wishing you all a happy summer holidays.
