Adair Club Chairman Update
We held the Adair Club AGM on Sunday the 6th April 2025, and it was a great success. The meeting was well attended, with around 50 members from various lodges dialing in.
Business was conducted smoothly and in harmony, and I, Tom Beasley, was duly elected as the new Chairman. Thank you for the trust you have reposed in me, I won’t let you down and I will serve as Chairman for all Members.
I’d like to extend my gratitude to Mike Norton for his outstanding work as Past Chairman. It’s been a pleasure working with him, and I’m grateful for the strong foundation he’s left behind—big shoes to fill indeed! Mike will remain actively involved in the club’s running and direction as Past Chairman, which is fantastic news.
I also want to thank Craig Harding for his hard work and the spirited challenge he brought to the table. His commitment to supporting the club, as always, is truly appreciated.
We’ve got a fresh ‘team at the top’ stepping in:
- Chris Cooke (Saint Kew 1222) – Secretary
- Sam Sheasby (Old Aluredian 7724) – Membership Secretary
The following are new appointments:
- Shay Aziz – Social Media Head and NE Rep (covering Bath and Keynsham)
- David Gardner – SW Area Rep
The following team members are staying in their roles:
- Gareth Bottomley – Treasurer
- Jon Britton – HRA Rep
- Rob Collins – NW Rep
- Nikita Lester – SE Rep
We also gave honorary roles to the previous past Chairs and founders of the club for Services to the Adair Club, as proposed by Mike Norton and seconded by myself:
