First Provincial Honours for Colubanus Lodge

Recognition by the Provincial Grand Master for the contribution to Freemasonry in Somerset, is an honour indeed, and when it is the first time such an award has been given to a member of a Lodge, it adds to the prestige and delight of the recipient.  John Ingram, on receiving his first Provincial “Collar” at the Provincial AGM, has claimed his place in the Lodge’s history.

A keen motorcyclist and founding member of Columbanus, having served as Master in 2022, John is currently their Assistant Director of Ceremonies.

A “Provincial Honour” is not only an award for past services but an expectation of ongoing contribution – there is no doubt among the brethren of Columbanus Lodge, that John will continue to serve them with the same diligence and dedication he has already demonstrated.

Cheers John – Past Provincial Grand Standard Bearer

Formed in May 2017, Columbanus Lodge is a Masonic lodge in the South-West of England for Freemasons with a passion for motorcycles: St Columbanus being the patron saint of motorcyclists.
