Tyntesfield Lodge Welcomes New Brother and Deputy Provincial Grand Master

Tyntesfield Lodge No. 4494 in Nailsea enjoyed an excellent evening on Tuesday 6th October, welcoming a new Brother into Freemasonry alongside a fraternal visit from the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, V.W.Bro Mike Greedy.

The Initiation ceremony was conducted under the direction of Worshipful Master Kevin Hall, with the candidate delivering an excellent performance and making a great impression on everyone present. A warm welcome to the newest member of Tyntesfield Lodge!

During his visit, Mike Greedy spoke to the Brethren about some of the membership challenges facing Freemasonry and the importance of attracting, supporting and retaining members.

The evening also provided an opportunity to promote the Adair Club, Somerset’s Light Blues Club, with Adair badges handed out to Brethren, encouraging them to get involved in the Club’s visits, social events and other activities.

The evening concluded with an enjoyable Festive Board, giving members and visitors the opportunity to catch up and welcome the new Brother. As always at Nailsea, the food was excellent, rounding off a thoroughly enjoyable evening of Freemasonry and good company.
