Nailsea Rose Croix – go “A Broad”

It was not abroad is travelling to a foreign country, it was because Liam Broad was Perfected into Rose Croix with his father Andy, explaining the collar to him in only his first meeting after joining himself. Andy’s delivery was heartfelt and brilliant, with Liam saying how much he enjoyed the whole evening. In fact Liam said he has a member of his Lodge who would love Rose Croix and is intending on proposing him for their next meeting!

There were several members missing, including the MWS, so David Mason the IG, stepped up to the plate and took the chair to deliver a near word perfect ceremony with very little prompting (apart from the Third Point!)

David also presented a Supreme Grand Council certificate to Andy Broad in his usual style.

Both Andy and Liam said how much they enjoyed becoming members of the Ancient and Accepted Rite and that they are looking forward on becoming active members of this Order.

At the meal afterwards David Mason said how important visiting other Chapters was and that everyone should do it more, “don’t wait to get invited, just go”. He also went on to suggest all recorders sent their summons to each Chapter Recorder to improve communication and visiting.
