Inkerman Install new Principals

The Companions of Inkerman Chapter, Weston-super-Mare, gathered on Monday, 28th September 2026, for their Annual Installation Meeting, which was well attended by a goodly number of Companions.

The Chapter was honoured by the presence of Andy Wade, 3rd Provincial Grand Principal, who attended as the representative of the Grand Superintendent. He was accompanied by Angus Ross, Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.

The evening proved to be a particularly memorable one, with the Somerset Sceptre being handed over to Inkerman Chapter by Eldon Chapter for safe keeping. The Sceptre will remain in the care of Inkerman until it is passed to Tyntesfield Chapter on 10th December 2026, when this important Provincial tradition will continue.

The principal officers for the ensuing year were then installed, with:

Harry Blinston being installed into the Chair of Z, Andy Clapp as H, Mike Parnell as J.

The installation was conducted in fine form, and the newly installed Principals subsequently installed their officers for the coming year.

The Companions of Inkerman Chapter can look forward to a busy and productive year, with a full calendar of Exaltations already in the pipeline. It promises to be a year of considerable activity, fellowship and enjoyment within the Chapter.

To end the chapter meeting in fine form, David Rogers, Finley James and Daniel James were presented there Grand Chapter certificates by Andy Wade.
