Barrie Palmer awards Festival Jewel to the PGM of Oxfordshire.

Barrie was at the lodge of Brotherly love recently in Yeovil to present a 50 year certificate to Jonathan Sibley. He was also there to present a Festival Jewel to another brother, but had another Jewel left over.

Barrie being Barrie announced, that if anyone would like to sign up there and then, they could have the Jewel without waiting! A member of the Lodge, non other than RW Stephen Tucker, PGM of Oxfordshire. He immediately made a one off donation to the Festival and Barrie was pleased to present him with his Jewel. Stephen did say that he wouldn’t be able to wear it too often, but certainly would when in Somerset.

Stephen is an extremely interesting man being a Professor of Biophysics at Oxford University. 

Barrie also met Stephen briefly the day before at the Berkshire Provincial meeting.
