Somerset Masonic Bowls Association

The Somerset Masonic Bowls Association has just completed its Summer Season outdoors and it ended with a very good contest between us and Taunton Deane Bowling Club.

Although the membership needs more players we managed to pull together a good number to fulfil this last fixture. We now have a couple of indoor matches planned at Taunton Deane and would like to invite all bowlers, Ladies and Gentlemen, that wish to join the association to contact David Evans, our secretary by email on edave88@aol.com. Those games are planned for Thursday 12 November and Thursday 11 March both starting at 1000.

 Fixtures for the Summer will begin when most clubs return in late April and we have 4-5 games per season. The cost is minimal, currently £10 per game including food afterwards.

Please support this growing sport within Somerset, membership of the association is not restricted to Freemasons and their partners, bring along a friend, they may want to B1 at some point.”
