Gordano Lodge hold another successful Quiz Night

On 13 June, Gordano Lodge held another of their regular popular charity Fun Quiz nights in the Clevedon Temple. The questions were under the control of the Quiz Master Extraordinaire W.Bro David Parslow who kept everyone head scratching and amused with his selection of questions. There was also an amazing buffet by Zena which was, as always, well received and complimented.

The winning team (The Naughty Table) were W.Bro Marshall Westley (Gordano), Bro Pete Meech (Gordano)and W.Bro Mike Gibson (Eldon), receiving a gold (coloured) Cup, and each a signed Certificate, wine and chocolates.

The generous raffle was organised and run by Bro Paul Bateman, and thanks must be given to all those who so generously gave prizes – enough in fact for there to be a 1 in 2 chance of winning!

The profits from the evening were donated by the Gordano Worshipful Master, W.Bro Rob Collins, to the Somerset Branch of the Masonic Fishing Charity.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all, and we are all looking forward to the next one in the Autumn.
