Welcome to the Daytime Chapter, Sir Isaac Newton

The Sir Isaac Newton Chapter, who meet in Nailsea recently held their Installation meeting where three past Principals were Installed into their places in fine form. The 2nd Provincial Grand Principal Mark Golding was welcomed to the Chapter accompanied by a number of Grand and Provincial Officers. With The current Deputy Provincial Grand Superintendent, Neil Hurcum (Marks Boss) taking the main chair, the three Principals received their address from Mark.

This Chapter aims to provide a home for those Companions of the order who prefer a daytime meeting rather than an evening one. It is a working Chapter, performing all the ceremonies of an evening Chapter, but meeting during a Wednesday morning, with the meeting followed by a leisurely lunch. Partners are invited to lunch after every meeting and hold their own ‘coffee morning’ during the ceremony. This makes the whole event a family one, making it easier to combine family and Royal Arch Masonry.
