Lodge of Agriculture present cheque for 2031 Festival and receive Honorific Jewels

During the Lodge of Agriculture’s May 2026 meeting, W. Bro. David Maddern (2031 Festival Chairman) made a presentation to the Lodge of Agriculture’s members to include guests, partners and potential candidates.

Bro. Rob Hepworth (Charity Steward) and WM W. Bro. Colin Roberts, then presented W. Bro David Maddern with a cheque for £26,550, earning the lodge its first trowel!

This contribution was achieved by 16 members having paid into the Lodge of Agriculture’s Relief Chest since the last festival. A further five members have signed up to the 2031 Festival directly. In recognition of their contributions, W. Bro David Maddern presented several member’s with Honorific Jewels.
