Somerset Brethren Support Grand Investitures

Somerset brethren accompanied the PGM , DPGM & the APGM, s to support our new appointed and  promoted grand officers at the annual grand investitures.

After taking up most of one of GWR carriages and after a few G&T s there was much laughter and masonic chat.
The rest of the journey was spent trying to find 4 tickets to get in to Grand lodge as WB Mat forgot his and his guests. ONE THING HE HAD TO REMEMBER.
Next stop was the Shakespeare Head for a couple of lemonades and then on to Grand Lodge.
After a great meeting with the Grand Master in the chair, seeing all our grand officers receiving their respective collars. We headed to The Prince of Wales pub and after all giving up our invitations WM Mat was presented with them , Mat will never forget an invitation again.

Then it was off to the Palm Court restaurant for a great meal and more laughs.

Back then to Paddington for the train  home to Somerset.
All of the Somerset brethren would be pleased to pass on their congratulations to WB ,s Mat , Andy , Neil and Ray on their first appointments and WB Russ and Sam on their promotions.
