A Full House at St Dunstan’s Ladies Night

In April 2025, at the beginning of his year as Master of St Dunstan’s lodge in Glastonbury, Keith Bird announced that he had already set a date for his Ladies’ night for March 2026! This forward planning proved a sensible move, as the evening was a great success. Held at The Loft in Street, the evening hosted around 70 guests from various lodges across the province.

With a mix of fine food, great entertainment, laughter and a busy bar, all the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Keith’s wife Penny was also on fine form, and delivered an excellent speech on behalf of of the Ladies.

The generosity of the guests meant the evening was topped off by a raffle that raised over £500. When added to the total raffle money from Keith’s term in office, Children’s Hospice South West will receive an impressive £2500 in the coming weeks.
