No Recycling At Eldon This Year!

Eldon Chapter’s March meeting saw something that hasn’t happened for quite sometime. The Companions saw all three Principals being installed into their Chairs: none of them being inducted/recycled Past Principles! Keith Baker took the Chair of 1st Principal of the Chapter, supported by Andy Broad who was installed as 2nd Principal and Companion Liam Broad installed as 3rd Principal.

The Chapter was honoured by the presence of Excellent Comp Chris Moore, who was representing the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent; he was accompanied by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies Mark Golding. Incidentally, this was Mark’s last official Installation meeting as the Provincial DC, prior to his own Installation as The Provincial 2nd Grand Principal at the annual Provincial Convocation Meeting in April.

Chris Moore presented David Nicholls with his Grand Chapter Certificate, giving a very interesting and informative explanation of its characteristics and Symbolisms.

Once the Ceremony had concluded the Companions retired to the dining room to enjoy the rest of the evening with good food, good company, and good humour, rounding off an excellent evening.
Eldon Chapters next meeting is on the 8th of May 2026, when the Companions will be Exalting a candidate Using the Savage Ritual. All are welcome to attend.
