Another One Joins the Club

In March, The Lodge of Science, who meet in Wincanton, initiated their newest member, Graham Samways. Graham is the brother-in-law of Jonny Porter and is the first of a new wave of members being developed from those who joined through the membership initiative.

The Master of the lodge Kevin Aldred delivered the initiation ceremony using the now infamous Wincanton Workings. Your Masonic journey is not really complete until you have experienced these! An enthusiastic, warm and hearty welcome awaits everyone willing to brave the journey to the far and distant rural reaches of the Province.

Graham was warmly welcomed at a sumptuous Festive Board and entertained with a heartfelt exposition of the Chain by Jeff Salter and a resounding rendition of the Entered Apprentice’s song led by Lee Osborn.
