Paul gets “Savage” at Vale of Jehoshaphat

The provincial team led by The MEGS Ray Guthrie visited Burnham on Sea to conduct the Exaltation of Paul Jarvis in a superb demonstration of the new Savage Ritual. Paul is the older brother of Matt Jarvis and as Matt said he finally got him into Chapter!

Nearly 30 members of the team visited Burnham in what was a most enjoyable evening, one of the stand out pieces was the work carried out by Colin Martin as the Principle Sojourner with his rendition of the discovery.

Neil Hurcombe, presented two Grand Chapter Certificates to Nick Butler and Robin Knibbs, in true Neil Hurcum style, with much humour and sincerity, it was mostly good! (You had to be there!)

With nearly 60 dining it was snug, but the atmosphere was brilliant. Many members of the VofJ though the Savage ritual was great and quite similar to their own, but much shorter.
