A Busy week for the Adair Club
On Tuesday 20th January, the Adair Club paid a visit to Estune Lodge, Nailsea, where members had the pleasure of witnessing a Third Degree Ceremony. An excellent evening was enjoyed by all, marked by warm fellowship and outstanding hospitality from the brethren of Estune Lodge.

During the Festive Board, Adair Club Secretary Chris Cooke provided the lodge with an update on forthcoming Adair events and visits, as well as details of our Light Blue Meeting to be held at Grand Lodge in May. The evening was a great example of the strong bonds of friendship shared between our Estune and the Adair club.
Later that week, on Thursday 22nd January, seven members of the Adair Club travelled up to Bristol to visit St Vincent Lodge, where we were treated to a brilliant Initiation Ceremony in the unique Bristol way. The visit was made all the more special as two Adair members were attending their first visit outside their own lodge, and what a way of doing it by witnessing Bristol workings at its best.

Our visit coincided with St Vincent’s Night, an occasion which the lodge certainly knows how to celebrate in fine style. Traditions were very much on display, including the customary toast to St Vincent, taken from a tankard filled with port, during which the toast was given before drinking while two brethren stood guard at the front and back. Later in the evening, a snuff box was passed around the Festive Board, adding another memorable touch to an already unique and enjoyable night.

Both visits were thoroughly enjoyed and you can find out more about our future visits and join us by looking at our website www.adairclub.com
