Christmas Lunch in the Forest
The Forest of Mendip celebrated the end of a fantastic year with their yearly Christmas Lunch at Yatton Masonic hall on Sunday 7th December,a total of 57 Brethren, their families, friends and a widow attended.
The widow of W.Bro John Gill, Stella gave a short speech giving thanks to all the brethren for the help she has received since John passed away, and she enjoys coming to the lunch every year.

A raffle was held for North Somerset Young carers. W.Bro. Ray Beckingham gave a brief outline on what the staff do to help carers aged from 3 years to 18 years, who help their parents and siblings, the money raised Will help the charity to give the children days out, visits to the cinema and theatres.The amount raised was £322.The photos include one of our W.M. Bubbs and Steve receive small gifts from Father Christmas.
The Brethren have one last visit this year to Portcullis Lodge later this week.
