Two Adams Make Double 1st At King Alfred

Well, what can we say here. First meeting ceremony since October’s installation and already
a double initiation in the bag for brethren at King Alfred.

Friday 21 st November was certainly one for the diaries, a new revised team of officers at King
Alfred conducting their first ceremony of this coming season in impeccable form once again
as we welcome are two newest members Adam Simmonds and Adam Foster-Fahy.
All those evenings spent at Lodge of Instruction and nights walking round the kitchen reciting
ritual really paid off, a slick performance from all who was involved and how can we ignore
the incredible delivery of the Charge to the Initiates from Adrian Morore, a visitor and
personal friend of our Workshipful Master Sean Biggins.

The night was also attended by APGM Russ Woodland together with the Provincial Mentor Ray Conneely who presented two Solomon Diploma certificates to Nathan Henderson and Chris Whitehead for completing all four Welcome Modules on the online Learning Platform Solomon, it what was another first for King Alfred.

A huge thank you to our visitors for helping make the night what is was, we’ve had some
excellent feedback from them and it just goes to show how connected we all are in the
extended masonic family.

Next up in December is another double first degree so as you can tell, a very busy year
ahead for King Alfred so please stay tuned.
