Dear All.
Mass participation events, such as the London Marathon, can provide you with an ideal opportunity to raise funds, engage with members and encourage active participation with fundraising appeals..
The benefits include inspiring members to take part in a challenge, promoting your Province, the MCF and Freemasonry in general, enabling many members to rally together to support a member in their Province and of course raise funds.
The 2026 London Marathon will take place on Sunday 26 April 2026
The MCF have been able to secure a bond with the London Marathon that offers us two places per year. These tickets will be made available to any member, free of charge, who wishes to take part on the condition that all funds raised go to the MCF, either directly or through a Festival Appeal.

We will provide running shirts, water bottles etc and full support on social media. We will also assist in setting up a fundraising page on our Freemasonry Gives fundraising platform.

To enable us to select the two runners we will be holding a ballot, to take place during the 1st week of July.

I am therefore asking you to circulate this throughout your Province to encourage anyone who wishes to be entered into the draw to email the Fundraising team by 30 June 2025 via our email address fundraising@mcf.org.uk

We are very excited that we have been able to secure these places and look forward to supporting the two successful participants.
