Backwell Has A New Master

At the recent meeting of Backwell Lodge, Bro. John Dalby was installed into the Chair of King Solomon in fine fashion by the Installing Master, W.Bro Roddy Chambers.

The installation meeting was attended by W.Bro Keith Baker very ably representing the Provincial Grand Master on this occasion, supported by his DC, W.Bro Mark Twist. The Lodge also welcomed a good number of visitors including from neighbouring Bristol and as far afield as the Province of Sussex!

The new Worshipful Master went on to do an excellent job investing his officers for the year before, for the first time, closing the Lodge and leading everyone downstairs for the usual excellent Festive Board.

W.Bro John also took the opportunity to thank the Immediate Past Master for all his support and guidance leading up to the installation and for everything he had done for the Lodge during his year in the Chair. He also said that he was looking forward to the year ahead and to working with the Lodge to move things forward.
