Lyndon is Exalted at VoJ
At their recent meeting the Vale of Jehoshaphat Chapter exalted Lyndon Baker a member of the the Rural Philanthropic Lodge (both historic lodges over 200 years old, meeting in Burnham on Sea, who in the past seemed to like long and difficult to pronounce names). They also welcomed back as a rejoining member of the Chapter, Mike David.

This was the second outing for the new Principals, Ted Toon, a busy man as he is also the current PrJGW, as Z the led the team with his fine ritual. Two other worthy mentions were Derek Nyenhuis who delivered the PS part in superb fashion as did Ian Chedzey as the Asst Soj, also word perfect.
Lyndon was a great candidate and said he was looking forward to learning more about the Royal Arch and how it completes his Masonic journey.
With over 30 in attendance and a great many Grand Officers there, including Graham Puddy, Reg Ferm and David Maddern, the night was a very enjoyable one. The evening was topped off with an another fantastic meal provided by John Chinn, with David Maddern responding to the visitors with his usual great humour, mostly aimed at Ian Evans, who is J and to be fair deserved it!
Vale of Jehoshaphat Chapter like its sister Craft Lodge, Rural Philanthropic, always deliver their ritual well, with good humour and in an extremely supportive way, both are well worth the visit, even if they are difficult names to pronounce!
