It’s a Triple Passing at King Alfred

Following on from January’s double raising at King Alfred, Friday 14 th February saw the brethren
conduct yet another ground breaking ceremony, this time a triple passing which was another first for
King Alfred.

This was an extra special family themed ceremony being there was father Daniel James, son Finlay
James and James’ cousin Jack Allen who were the candidates for the evening, all of them were
exceptional with their second degree questions and really demonstrates the care and attention the
more senior brethren at King Alfred provide to our newer members.

The night also saw the provincial membership team conduct the membership challenge, which was
also aptly timing for this special evening. Remarks were given that we are a thriving lodge who are
learning how to adapt to multiple ceremonies while retaining the candidates being our focus.
We were also visited by brethren from Emergency Services Lodge, who gave us a shout out on
X; they are always supportive of us and hopefully one day we can return the favour.
