Admiral Blake’s Donation Makes Perfect Sense

The members of Admiral Blake Lodge in Bridgwater recently agreed to donate £1,000 to a local Primary School in the village of Puriton. This donation aims to support the construction of a new sensory room for the children. The school has seen an increase in the number of children with sensory needs, including those with visual impairments, autism, and other sensory challenges. A sensory room can serve multiple purposes, such as providing a calming environment, aiding sensory integration, and facilitating skills training. Members of the Lodge recently visited the school to formally present the donation to the Puriton School headmistress.
