Tyntesfield 4494 Royal Arch Meeting – 12th December 2024

On Thursday 12th December, Tyntesfield Chapter completed their first Savage Club workings
ceremony, wheupon Colin Kenyon of Southey Lodge was exalted into the Royal Arch.

The Principals (David Maddern as Zerubble, Bob Paice as Haggai and Mark Wilcox as Joshua) and the Sojourners provided a great ceremony, and were well supported by late substitute in the person of Steve Cole.

The Address to the Candidate was given by Neil Hurcum, Deputy Grand Superintendent. The signs were presented by Martin Slocombe, and the Mystical Lecture was presented by the three Principals, Richard Reeve, Bob Paice and Martin Slocombe.

The meeting opened on a sad note, with Chris Perry giving a eulogy for the late brother Paul Rabbitts.

After the meeting everyone adjourned for the “Festive” Festive Board, with Turkey and all the trimmings, as always up to the excellent high standard enjoyed at Nailsea.

Colin Kenyon had a good number of visitors to support him, including a delegation from Gloucestershire. A very pleasant evening was had by all the companions of Tyntesfield Chapter and their visitors.

Tyntesfield Chapter will have two more exaltations during the forthcoming year, in February and May. The next convocation will be an exaltation on 13th February 2025. As always visitors always welcome.
