Ding Dong Quantock Merrily On High

On Saturday 14th December, the Quantock Lodge 4446, Watchet had an informal get-together with Christmas Carols in the Temple followed by a buffet dinner downstairs. The members were accompanied by family and friends, and forty-one people sat down to eat after the carol singing. Thanks are due to all the usual suspects who helped out, particularly to their Worshipful Master Alan Sandwell and his wife Helen for making it a special evening for everyone. Quantock Brethren are grateful to one of their Honorary Members, Father Jerry Hellier, for presiding over the Carol Service and their excellent caterer who, as always, did them proud. Also thanks go to Ian Chamberlain for organising a fun Christmas quiz after everyone had eaten. There was an excellent atmosphere of festive fun throughout the evening and
the raffle raised £185 for the Master’s chosen charity, Parkinsons UK. All in all, an excellent evening was enjoyed by all.

Quantock Lodge would like to wish a Merry Christmas to all of the Brethren in the Province of Somerset, and their families.
