Ladies That Lunch At Loyal Vacation Lodge

Under the guidance of the Lodge Almoner, the Loyal Vacation Lodge no. 6209 invited their Lodge Widows, some local widowed ladies and their lodge elders (who are no longer able to regularly join them) to Wiveliscombe on the 7th December.

Attendees were treated to a champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous meal prepared by the members and their wives and served by the Lodge Brethren. The Lodge widows were of course treated at the Lodge’s cost.

Despite Storm Darragh’s weather impact that weekend there was still a good turnout; the Lodge Brethren have received some lovely positive feedback that all present had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon. Hopefully it is something the Brethren can repeat next year.
