Vivary Lodge 8654 Installation Report

At their recent October Installation meeting, the Vivary Lodge No 8654, who meet at Taunton Masonic Hall welcomed a large number of visitors to see Matt Landy installed into the Chair of King Solomon for the forthcoming season. Keeping a very close eye on proceedings was John Winston, Past Deputy Grand Master for Somerset Province and a Grand Officer of UGLE. Matt was installed in fine fashion by Mike Marshall, who was ably assisted by Richard Wilson, who now becomes the Vivary Lodge Mentor. A superb Festive Board (provided by 5* Karen & her team) afterwards was enjoyed by all present.

Matt is an ex RAF policeman who now runs a locksmith and carpentry business in Taunton and the surrounding areas….so you could say he’s gone from locking people up, to helping people break back into their own homes (when locked out)! With a very busy season of ceremonies planned, Matt and his team of officers are looking forward to welcoming some new members into Vivary Lodge this season.
