History Made at St Keyna Chapter
History was made and tradition changed at St Keyna Chapter in October.
Encouraged by the example set by Province, using “Savage Ritual”, St Keyna carried out a “Savage Club” Exaltation using their own members, with a cameo appearance by the Provincial 3rd Grand Principal, David Maddern.
It was a wonderful occasion and their Exaltee, Companion Hugh Trevorrow of Saltford Lodge, thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
The proceedings justified the decision made by the members in adopting Savage Ritual, to enhance the quality of the candidate’s experience and to include more members in the ceremony.
The evening was topped off with a very enjoyable banquet, where the candidate replied suitably, after his own toast, confirming how much he enjoyed everything.
Their next Exaltation will be on Thursday 14th November, with another live candidate.
