On Sunday 8th December there is a 5k/10k (depending on how fit you are) fun run in Burnham on Sea, the aim is to raise funds for cancer in children and Burnham Freemasons are the main sponsor of the event.
Many people, young and old, suffer with this dreadful disease, losing a child to it is one of the most awful things that can happen to anyone. There is a prize for the best fancy dress, and the funds will be going to I Love Musgrove. Last year the event raised over £4,000, and with the support of Freemasons they hope to raise even more.
