Connaught Freemasons Macmillan Coffee Morning

Connaught Freemasons host their very first MacMillan Coffee Morning at the Masonic Hall in Midsomer Norton, on Friday 27th September, a successful event, despite the weather putting some people off!
With many generous donations of cakes and other goodies our customers had plenty to choose from, and quite a few took a ‘doggy bag’ home.

In addition to the food and beverages we gave guided tours around the Temple to those who
were interested in finding out what we as Freemasons do, and to dispel the myths that we are
a secret society. Will and Patie Nichols thanked us for making them so welcome and enjoyed
their tour of the Temple, as did many others.

This was the first time they had held a MacMillan Coffee Morning and are very pleased to
have raised a total of £210.
