Tyntesfield 4494 Royal Arch Chapter Meeting 12th September 2024

On Thursday 12th September, Tyntesfield Chapter held its 142nd meeting, and installed its Principals. The meeting began by welcoming E Comp Bob Moore PGSwdB, Past Deputy Grand Superintendent. He was accompanied by E Comp Angus Ross Prov AssGDC.
The meeting opened on a sad note, with E Comp David Maddern giving a heartfelt eulogy concerning the late E Comp. Dale Shermon.
The primary business of the evening was the installation of the Principals for the ensuing year. E. Comp Richard Ellis inducted E Comp David Maddern in the chair of Zerubbabel; whilst E Comp David Maddern conducted an excellent installation of E Comp Robert Paice into the chair of Haggai. E Comp Robert Paice conducted an excellent installation of E Comp Mark Wilcox into the chair of Joshua.
E Comps David Maddern and Robert Paice presented the Robe Addresses.
The Principals appointed the officers with decorum. With Sojourners all being Companions. Plus, Scribe Nehemiah being a progressive office for the first time in a number of years.
The address to the Principals was delivered by E Comp Bob Moore Past Deputy Grand Superintendent. The Address to the Officers was delivered by E Comp Richard Reeves.
The Address to the Companions was delivered by E Comp Geoff Seaman.
After the Risings the Chapter was closed in peace and harmony, the companions adjourned for the Festive Board of Warm Salmon & Dill Tart; Sauté Chicken with a Cider, Whole Grain Mustard & Cream Sauce, New Potatoes and Vegetables, followed by Raspberry Eton Mess and Coffee, again up to the normal excellent Nailsea standard.
Although short on numbers due to a variety of reasons, a very pleasant evening was had by all.
Tyntesfield Chapter will have three exaltations during the forthcoming year in December, February, and May.
The next convocation will be an exaltation on 12th December 2024. When exaltations will be completed using the Savage Workings. As always visitors always welcome.
