“Big Stew” takes the Big Chair at Estune
With over 70 people in attendance (including 32 visitors) Stewart Galway was Installed as the Master of Estune Lodge, in fine fashion by the current incumbent Mark Eastaugh.
Rob Hughes the PRJGW was there representing Ray Guthrie the PGM with Nathan Henderson the Deputy PrGDC in support. It was a superb evening with the working tools being presented excellently in each of the three degrees. The addresses to the Master, Wardens and Brethren were delivered in Sublime form by Rob and no less than two Grand Officers, Martin Slocombe (Wardens) and Richard Reeve (Brethren).
Stewart took to the chair like a duck to water and will have a great year as Master of Estune, before taking the Chair of his other Lodge, Wraxall, in November 2025.
The food was as sumptuous as ever at Nalisea and a wonderful night was had by all including three members of a Lodge in the deepest darkest valleys of Wales who took the trip over the bridge to join in.
