A Busy night at Emergency Services Lodge
Last Thursday, or the “Glorious 12th” as it was called, saw Barrie Palmer installed as the new Assistant Provincial Grand Master as well as Bryan Martyn installed as their new Master.
Ray Guthrie the PGM had a lot of work to on the night, not only investing Barrie but he also too the chair to invest Brian as well. The Provincial DC Garry Sharp was also made to earn his supper as he carried out the duties of DC on the night.
It was a long evening, but with over 90 min attendance it was an evening enjoyed by all and the food, as ever at Taunton, was superb and plentiful, everyone left full and in high spirits. ESL is going from strength to strength with 5 new prospects balloted for and a further 5 to be interviewed, a Lodge indeed taking up the membership Challenge!
Stephen Poland of Athelstan Lodge will be taking over from Barrie in the role of Provincial Membership Officer.
