Bridgwater Lodges Support Armed Forces Day 2024
Saturday 22nd June saw members of Bridgwater’s masonic lodges & Somerset Province attend the Bridgwater Armed Forces Day. The Armed Forces day recognises the vital role, current and ex-serving members of our Armed Forces play within the fabric of the nation.
Klaus Galeitzke, a member of the Lodge of Perpetual Friendship L135, as one of the event organisers was able to provide a spot for the Provincial Gazebo. This allowed Somerset Freemasons to directly support the day, but also allowed members of the public to engage, to ask questions and enquire about joining.
The day was a huge success with wider attendance at the event far surpassing the previous year and is only set to grow next year. Alongside trade stands, the event included a great performance by the Military Wives Choir, numerous military vehicles on display, lots of eatery’s & a full bar.
