Members of Elizabethan Lodge and St Alphege Lodge came together recently for an enjoyable evening of friendly competition at the Harington Club in Bath:
The highlight of the evening was a ‘best of three’ skittles challenge match, with Elizabethan taking an early lead through two consecutive wins. However, St Alphege displayed remarkable resilience, their skipper making a series of tactical changes that resulted in a comeback to claim the final leg.
Following the spirited match, attendees were treated to a delightful buffet provided by the Harington, and to cap off the evening, everyone engaged in a lively, banter-filled game of ‘Killer’.
With the success of this event, anticipation is high for a return match, as both Elizabethan and St Alphege look forward to future opportunities for friendly competition and camaraderie.
