Ups And Downs With The Lodge Of Perpetual Friendship L135
On the 16th of March 2024, Ups & Downs Southwest, a fantastic charity that provide a range of support to families across the South-West, hosted the World Down Syndrome Awareness Day Celebration at Space Adventure in Taunton. With over twenty families in attendance, much fun was had by all. Indeed, the sensory room and ball pools mesmerising the younger children, the soft-play courses and football areas allowing the older children to burn off some energy, but also, the cafe allowing parents and carers to enjoy some much-needed refreshments.
This event was made possible with a donation of £1000 from the Lodge of Perpetual Friendship L135, Bridgwater made in February 2024. Also, Space Adventures Taunton & Mademoiselle Desserts, who generously donated colds drinks, nachos and cakes for the families to enjoy.
