New Master Installed at Tynte Lodge
At their recent installation on the 15th February, Tynte Lodge welcomed its new Master Peter James to the Chair of King Solomon. It was an excellent ceremony which was conducted by the Installing Master, Alan Chambers, with a touch of humour and precision, all of which was enjoyed by our brethren and the many guests.
Peter had already been through the chair in Oxfordshire and Joined Tynte Lodge in 2022, jumping straight in as JW, being a keen and avid Masons, he took the reins in superb fashion.
They also had the honour of the PGM’s representative, Ian Evans ProvJGW and with his escort Andy Broad ProvDGDC in attendance.
Our other guests included Grand officers, Martin Slocombe & Adrian Robson, along with other visiting Brethren from 10 Lodges in Somerset.
The splendid ceremony was followed by an equally first-class festive board prepared by our local caterer.
With a few new officers appointed to the Tynte Lodge team, our new Worshipful Master is now looking forward to an exciting year of good fellowship and under his leadership, embracing the membership challenge.
