Adair Club First Aid Refresher

Members of the Adair Club are invited to attend a First Aid Training afternoon on Saturday 26th August 2023 taking place at the Hanging Chapel, The Hill Langport. Starting at 1400 and finishing by 1630. The course will be free with a donation for tea, coffee and biscuits.
The Trainer Bro Steve Holden is an experienced, Registered Paramedic who currently teaches Health and Social Care to apprentices throughout Somerset, Bristol, and Gloucestershire. He spent over 6 years in the Ambulance Service, experiencing all kinds of emergency situations and providing lifesaving interventions.
The training will cover:
Common causes of collapse / faints,
Heart attack Vs Cardiac arrest,
Chest Pain,
Chain of survival,
Recognition of Cardiac Arrest,
CPR,
Recovery Position,
When to call 999.
