Taunton Deane 5221 Installation Report

The recently refurbished temple at The Taunton Masonic Centre witnessed a wonderful evening in early March when Andy Williams was installed as the Worshipful Master of Taunton Deane Lodge 5221. Over 50 members and guests attended the ceremony which was superbly conducted by Harry Price. Andy magnificently installed his new officers with passion and enthusiasm as always. APGM Richard Winter, representing the PGM gave the address to the Worshipful Master. Richard Parrish presented the Past Masters Jewel to Harry in a wonderful manner. The Festive Board was a joyous occasion as always with members and guests enjoying masonic fellowship.

Taunton Deane Lodge was consecrated on 1st October 1930, the first Worshipful Master was Brigadier General C. L. Norman who went on to become the Provincial Grand Master for Somerset in 1935.
