Gordano Lodge 6244 Christmas Meeting and Carol Service

On Wednesday the 21st of December 2022, Gordano Lodge 6244 held their last regular meeting of the year. This was the Christmas meeting and Carol Service, where friends, relatives, and Masonic widows were invited to join.

After a short business meeting everyone was invited to the temple for a festive Carol Service and Bible readings. This was a lovely service with traditional, inspiring readings, and all organised by Matt Westley. The readings were read by Paul Hinkley, Bryan Clayton, Stuart Petty, Peter Harris (MBE), Mrs Mary Selby, Mrs Alice Hosking, and Mrs Jennifer du Kamp.

We then made our way downstairs for a lovely festive meal. The food and the wine were excellent, the company fun and jovial, and Matt Westley’s organisation was brilliant. The meal was followed by a festive quiz, and more carol singing.

Finally, a raffle raised a great deal of money for local charities and food banks.
