93 and still going strong

WBro John J Connell, JJ to his friends, has just completed 60 years in Freemasonry and was presented with his certificate by the Assistant Grand Master at a recent meeting of the Vale of Avon Lodge in Wiltshire, of which JJ is a founder member.

Not one to sit on the side-lines, JJ delivered a large part of the Raising Ceremony that evening, in his customary faultless and engaging style.

JJ is also an Honorary Member of St Alphege Lodge, having served admirably as their Master in 1993; while his IPM was a young David Medlock, who recalls that he did not need to prompt him very often!
