Portcullis Lodge visit Portcullis Lodge

On Saturday 11th June, members of Portcullis Lodge No 2038 who meet at Langport (the centre of the known universe) headed east to pay a visit to Portcullis No 8268, Province of Kent. This is their 2nd visit in their quest to meet the other 3 Portcullis Lodges in the UK. The visitors were warmly welcomed and entertained by their hosts; this included a trip to the cellar of the lodge building, which houses a micro brewery! A previous visit to Portcullis No 6672, Province of Berkshire was equally enjoyable and all four lodges plan to meet at Great Queen St, London – along with Portcullis No 6085 for their installation ceremony.
