Weston super Mare Masonic Hall refurbishment

Weston-super-Mare Masonic Hall has had a facelift to provide a larger bar area and a Rehearsal Room with a sliding door between them which, when opened, creates a larger social/training/conference facility. TV screens, a rolldown viewing screen and a media platform for playing music from Mobiles or laptops via Bluetooth have been installed along with a PA system. A disabled toilet has been constructed as well as a bespoke robing room and storage facility. A suspended ceiling with a new movement-controlled LED lighting system (with overrides and a zoning capacity) has been fitted throughout, new carpet laid with all areas redecorated. A step lift for disabled access will soon be in place at the front entrance. All this was achieved during Lockdown and will make the Hall more user friendly and up to date when the Brethren return to active Freemasonry. The photo below shows the new bar and rehearsal areas.
