Langport Freemasons donate £5000 to Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (SURE)

FREEMASONS from Langport have donated £5,000 to the County Gazette-backed Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (SURE).

George Small and fellow Masons from the Portcullis Lodge have handed over the cheque to the charity, which helps equip the Beacon Centre cancer unit at Taunton’s Musgrove Park Hospital.

The money was raised at a charity ball and raffle held at the Cooper Associates County Ground, in Taunton.
